Michael John Stanish, Artist 419 Caravan Ave. Billings, MT 59105 406-661-2353 bluguitar@bresnan.net Michael was raised on a ranch South of Great Falls, Montana. His country upbringing is often reflected in his artwork. He utilizes a variety of media including oil, watercolor, ceramic and steel. He studied art at MSU, Bozeman and the U of M Missoula, MT. Over the years Michael has participated in numerous shows and exhibitions including the CMR Art Auction, the Yellowstone Art Museum show and sale, the Beijing, China Cultural Exchange, the Loveland CO. Sculpture Invitational and one man shows. His works have been purchased for private and public collections throughout the United States. He was commissioned in Great Falls, MT. to do a large concrete bas relief sculpture for the Trinity Lutheran Church, and a monumental steel and ceramic sculpture for the MSU College of Technology Percent for Art.
